The saga around Nigerian TikTok star Peller’s wedding to Jarvis just took a legal turn. Jarvis is now threatening a lawsuit against fellow content creator Carter Efe, accusing him of cyberbullying in the wake of the couple’s high-profile union, which has already generated weeks of online commentary and viral clips since Peller confirmed he was officially “off the market.”
Details of the alleged cyberbullying haven’t been fully spelled out publicly, but the threat has reignited chatter around the pressures Nigerian influencers face once their personal lives go viral — particularly newlyweds still riding the wave of wedding-related attention. Carter Efe hasn’t issued a public response yet.
Whether this turns into an actual court case or fizzles out as many influencer spats do, it’s kept the Peller-Jarvis story firmly in the news cycle well past the wedding day itself — proof that for Nigeria’s biggest content creators, the drama rarely ends when the cameras stop rolling.
