One Killed as Clash Erupts Between Davido’s Security Team and Hoodlums in Osogbo
A violent clash broke out between suspected hoodlums and members of Davido’s security detail in Osogbo, Osun State, leaving one person dead. The incident occurred amid heightened political tension in the state ahead of its closely watched governorship election, adding a troubling real-world edge to what had already been a chaotic stretch of headlines involving the singer.
Details of what triggered the confrontation remain unclear, and it’s not yet known whether any arrests have followed. The incident has renewed conversation about security risks facing high-profile entourages in politically charged environments — particularly with Davido’s own recent pivot toward political mobilisation in the same state.
